Welcome to the Virginia Business Travel Association!
As a local chapter of the Global Business Travel Association, our mission is to provide a forum for education, networking and support for the travel industry. The pace of change is fast, and we need to stay ahead of it!
Our members include corporate travel managers, procurement professionals, representatives from the air, ground and hotel segments of our industry, travel management companies and meeting and events professionals. Together, we ARE the travel community. We draw members from Central Virginia and beyond (the Richmond metropolitan area, north toward Fredericksburg, east toward Tidewater and west toward Charlottesville and the Shenandoah Valley).
Our continued goal is to support and educate our members, provide a forum for discussion and debate, and enhance our professional relationships within the travel community. At each bi-monthly meeting, we will provide premier educational content, and opportunities to expand your network. We rotate locations so please be sure to read our emails, follow us on social media and bookmark our website.
We hope you will join us at our bi-monthly meetings, education days and annual galas in support of our mission. Your voice reaches Capitol Hill as we lobby for industry change, and we offer educational scholarships to assist our members with attending the annual Global Business Travel Association annual conference, held each summer.
