January 20th

GBTA Update – Ready. Safe. Travel

3:30pm - 4:30pm

Join us for our first meeting of the New Year!  We will hear from Dave Hilfman, Interim Executive Director of GBTA, regarding the outlook for Travel in 2021.

Dave Hilfman was appointed as the interim executive director of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) in July 2020. This followed his retirement in December 2018 from a 37 year career in the airline industry. Dave served as senior vice president of Worldwide Sales for both United Airlines and Continental Airlines over a 14 year period. The merger between Continental and United in 2010 created the world’s largest airline in terms of passenger revenue. Hilfman is credited with helping unify the two cultures with his honest, progressive and affable leadership style and for leading the team to record breaking commercial success over his eight years at the new United.

Great Lunch & Learn on January 11!

Special Thank You to Richard Coughlin!

Richard offered a terrific presentation on a process he has used for more than 20 years to improve his goal-setting and advance his career. He began this exercise while he was a hotel sales manager in the 1990’s, continued it while he was in graduate school, and refined it during his time as a business school professor. The participants left with very specific tools for improving efficiency and achieving important career goals. Thanks again to Richard for sharing his time with us!
