GBTA Virginia is committed to offering Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Convention Scholarships to our Membership.  We recognize the value of Education in our industry and hope that this opportunity will assist you in continuing and reaching your professional goals.

2026 GBTA CONVENTION SCHOLARSHIPS

GBTA Virginia is offering two Convention Registration Scholarships, one for a Direct Member and one for an Allied member to attend the GBTA Convention in Chicago, Illinois on August 3-5,  2026. 

Applications for the complimentary Convention registration will be accepted until 5P EDT, May 29, 2026.  You must be a 2026 VBTA Member in good standing for your application to be considered.  Any unqualified application submissions will be not be given consideration.  The application can be accessed via the following link, which is also included in Member emails announcing these Scholarships

Who is Eligible - Any Direct or Allied Member in good standing with the GBTA Virginia Chapter in 2026 may apply.  In addition to being a Member of VBTA, Award recipients must also be a member of GBTA, or an All-Access GBTA Member in order to attend Convention.  Membership will be verified before Convention.

Additional Requirements - Only one online application per member may be submitted.  The scholarship is valid for registration to the GBTA 2026 Convention in Chicago, Illinois and a member may only win a scholarship once every two years.  The recipient of the scholarship is responsible for any additional costs incurred to attend 2026 GBTA Convention.  If you are the recipient of one of these scholarships and have already registered and paid for 2026 Convention, GBTA will refund the registration fee previously paid.
